Can you tell the difference? This took about twice as long as usual. I wanted to try a different technique and it turns out great for hair and detail. Also it reduces photoshopping to a minimum. I did all the lineart with a soft pencil, instead of a liner - and colored the pencil-line. I already tried this ages ago in the very beginning, but back then drawing and my coloring sucked a lot more than today
So although this takes a lot longer, I think, it´s worth it - it will take my quality to a new personal high ^^
Spider: European Garden Spider (araneus diadematus) - I don´t like spiders, but I respect creatures and life in general - and I adore their web-building skills; and the fact, that they can produce seven different types of silk amazes me. Unfortunately they only live one summer. I accidently ate one one day. They are slightly poisonous (like hornets) and my stomach couldn´t take it. After throwing up, I realised, I had eaten a araneus diadematus. I was sorry somehow, that I took it´s life and it didn´t even feed me. So please consider this a tribute to the species
I know, the "Letters" takes ages this time. But drawing other stuff in between lets me a) keep the quality up in the "Letters", instead of starting to rush things when coming closer to the end and it b) gives the faithful Kyoko-friend something to smile at, while waiting so patiently - for which I thank you very much ^^
Back to drawing "Letters 34" for me - thanks for reading
